I got my teeth kicked in second round by the defendign champ and 2 guy in the nation. But I did move up to second in the division.
I can say this. I have not went out first round yet thsi year in the divisional races. I have went out 1st round in 2 bracket races bought back in both and won them....so maybe I shuld be racing more than this once every 3 week crap.....

Too far Jim, I had my chance in Cedar Falls when I pulled him second round. I needed to beat him then go rounds. He beat me and went rounds. That was my only chance and I would have needed to go serious rounds at two more races. I would be in Ohio this weekend had I whupped him for another throw away race. Trying to gain more points the some others I went to.
Had I even entered a couple national events I have enough divisional points I would have placed in the top ten in the nation. This means you would have seen a single digit number on my car. Now I will have a 2 digit..... 52.... 5 being the division 2 being the place in the division.
It was a good season but its tough travelling all over the friggen country with ZERO sponsorship help. Well I got 200 bucks middle of the season from somone but that rig you seen when it gets 4-5mpg and you are travelling 10 hours one way is expensive. I have a couple deals in the works for next year, BTE tranneys may be throwing me a powerglide and some convertors which is cool. But I really need cash. The 3 speed is coming out. It has caused me a couple rounds. Im hoping to land about 3500 minimum next year to run this thing. I used to get more than that when I was in Oshkosh and just racing there and Byron. 3500 will cover most gas and entries so that would be a huge help. Had I won first in the division I would have had a gold card, free entry to any IHRA trrack.......next year.
