Notice how this bar follows the contour of the body.

Notice how nicely it follows the roof line and the back seat will be reinstalled.

Notice how the main hoop is as high as possible.

Hey man nice job on the cage, I am still planning on having the headers done if I can ever get a sponsor but until then I am tapped out. I would have sent you a pm but your e-mail is full.
I do have a question though, with a cage I was told my kirkey seat can only be mounted a maximum of 6 inches from the main hoop and it has to be fastened to the hoop to cert for 9.99 and faster. What if you have the kirkey kit that welds up to the cage main hoop and door bar to create a cradle for the seat? if its all welded to the cage and door bar does it matter if its more then 6 inches from the main hoop still then?
6 inches from the hoop is still to far from the pedals for me, Kirkey said "I don't see a reason that it wouldn't pass tech with our kit" but thats not a straight answere.
Thanks, J.J.

Thanks, J.J.Big J, the NHRA and IHRA rule books clearly states, there can be no more than 6" between the helmet and the main hoop. This is an 8.50 and slower rule.
