View Full Version : Who is up for a track day?

I want to do some racing while I am up in Sept. I know my car will love the cool weather, and I have a few grudges to settle. I have mentioned this to Darrell and a few others but haven't gotten much response, so I am just gonna post and see what happens. Who would be interested in a track rental day? We could call it the WSD day at the track. As far as time frame goes, 3rd week of Sept. works best for me, so who wants to do this? I might even be willing to man the grill for a while for a little BBQ.

Sounds good to me. We will have to have Mark do some smooth talking to the track owners.

i don't think roger will ever let us rent it.


it might be better to just go on a wednesday and deal with an unprepped track.

The last Wed is the last week in Aug. So if he won't do it then I guess we have to talk to our friends at GLD. Then again after my car dieing on me tonight I don't know that it will matter to me.

Hanging out at the bracket races would be cool, but it would be much funner if we could have the track to ourself for the day.

No my car doesn't like Naaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwsssssssss. It likes vitamins to keep it healthy. I was told too many vitamins could be a bad thing though.

Your picking up 13 mph on a 75 shot? I don't think so......... Very nice times though, I can't wait to see what you do on a "real" shot.

My gtech always reads about 3-4mph high. Maybe that accounts for the big increase. I can't wait to try out my 50shot.:shft:
