View Full Version : Blower and Turbo guys....INSIDE NOW!!!

I am thinking of starting a new event called "Boost Fest" which will be the "anti-nitrous street car brawl" for GLD.

This will be an event that caters to all blowers (hairdryer and roots, gas and Alky) and turbo'd cars (4cyc,6cyc, and twin turbo cars)

Is there anybody interested in doing this?

I havent figured out all the classes and rules yet... but, it WILL be a heads up/pro tree ...run whatcha brung (in your class) type of event.

The local tracks dont seem to really cater to this so, I figured I'd give it a try.

Lets hear some input! (remember, I dont have classes or rules yet...I'm just looking for ideas and thoughts) (Oh yeah...some help putting this together would be nice too)


I have discussed this a bit with the guys from dragsters and doorslammers too. :thumbs_up

I think there are a few promod classes around already, but they let you run nitrous combo's as well. And most people with fast turbo blower cars class race them so there should be a lot of them around. You might be able to get them to come out if there is a good payout.

you could run out nitrous and blower cars then have the winners of each class race each other for extra $$ and bragging rights :clap:

i dont have a boosted car, but i do beleve i would make the drive down there to watch this event

Ah yes this would be a cool event, and most likely much worth attending. Do it and see how it goes!
