no spark

The 350 I have in my s-10 blazer has no spark. Last week I had it running while messing with the carb and it just quit. I have power to the dist but no spark at the plugs. I tryed 2 different coils and a new module. It's just a stock hei. Cap, rotor and wires are new. I made sure the rotor spins too. Any ideas of anything I missed.

pick up coil.....make sure the wires did not break off of it.
also how does the little carbon button look that connects the coil to the rotor?

The coil is new. The botton looked new also.

The pickup coil is under the mainshaft/advance assembly. It is what plugs into the module with two wires......thats what I was asking about. I am assuming the 2 coils you tried are the actual ign coil inside the top of the cap.
